Cantina Wilma is set in 8 hectares of terrain. It was made in 2007 and it is a family - run business.

From 2 hectares Cantina Wilma gets its wine from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Pecorino Colline Teatine and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo grapevines. From 3 hectares the company obtains its oil from Leccino olive grove. In another 2 hectares the company cultivates the typical "Mazzaferrata" artichoke, the leftover is wood.

Maurizio's expert hands deal with the cultivation of the countryside, he takes care also of the production and the sale of wine.

A former large shed or a barn, refurbished and adapted as a cellar by the contractor Maurizio. Going down from Chieti in the direction of the quarter of Madonna della Vittoria, Cantina Wilma is located along a narrow road which gets even narrower running along a ridge. On one side there is the magnificent panorama of the heart of Abruzzo, the Pescara River valley. On the other, un unsuspected rural landscape quietly lulled by the warm sun at sunset.

Beautiful setting, welcoming and taken care of. The roof is made of wood with exposed beams, behind the gate the soul of the company is hidden: tanks and wine casks.

Dalla vite nasce l'uva..e dall'uva il vi

The entire production line "Il Vino di Donna Tethi" is certified as organic. The wines are taken directly from the barrel and bottled without being clarified and filtered and without being stabilized. The natural vinification with indigenous yeasts and the refinement on the fine lees in steel only highlight its territorial characteristics.

The line of wines "Il Vino di Donna Tethi" pays homage to Achille's mother, whose name was Tethi, who, according to the legend, founded the city of Chieti, formerly Teate.
